GETTING BACK TO GOOD

Hello friends! It's been such a long time since we've sat down for a chat, hasn't it? How have you been?

My life has been a bit of a rollercoaster, filled with the ups and downs on the road of recovery. I'm pleased to report that my husband is doing well and even surpassing the doctor's expectations. He's not back to 100% yet, and he still has limitations, as well as painful days, but every day is a little better than the last.

​In my last post, I mentioned I would be taking a step back from Beauty and Bad Blood, but that I would still be writing. And I tried. I really did. I have started and put aside three different books since June. I'll eventually get back to those stories, but I just wasn't in a good headspace to write them at the time.

Having reached the halfway-ish point in my current book, however, I'm comfortable announcing that Pain in the Ice: Blackhaven Manor, Book 8 will be coming soon! Thade Maddock's story wasn't supposed to be next, but he was very demanding, and I make it a point never to argue with dragons. I don't have a solid release date yet, but I've got my eye on the first week of September. 

After that, I'll be taking a short break to visit my oldest son in Florida. Then, it will be back to work on Beauty and Bad Blood, which I hope to finish by the beginning of October. 

That is as far out as I have scheduled right now, but I will have more updates to post in the near future. Look for the cover and blurb for Pain in the Ice to be posted next week!
